About me

Welcome to my website. I am Laurens Heinen, an independent trainer in a variety of soft skills, in English and Dutch, based in Brussels, Belgium.

I first got involved in training people when I was active for the young liberals in my university years, some two decades ago. For a long time, I trained people as a serious hobby next to my 'regular' corporate career, in evenings and weekends. These were mainly political trainings both for my political party and abroad, promoting democracy in countries that are neighbours of the European Union. 

In 2019, after some life changes prompted a career change as well, I've made training people my profession. I train people in a variety of topics and a variety of settings, often completely tailored to the situation.
